First Responder Disaster for Live and HRD K9 Teams

Ready to test your skills as a team and push your training to the next level? Do you need help with foundational elements in your detection work? This is the seminar for you and your K9 partner! We will be utilizing the Illinois Fire Service Institute training grounds in Champaign, IL with 28 acres of real-life training props. The various training props and scenarios provide opportunities for creative and challenging search scenarios while also providing opportunities to enhance and increase proficiencies in foundational detection skills.
This seminar is designed for all levels of search teams (live and HRD) and will include three training tracks to ensure that you are getting a training experience that most directly fits your needs:
1. Enhancement of Functional HRD Detection Skills - Beginner to intermediate, problem solving.
2. HRD Operational - Intermediate-advanced, firm trained final response.
3. Live Find - Intermediate-advanced, firm trained final response
Each track is limited to FIVE working spots. Each team must register for one of the three training tracks noted above. If you have a dog that is cross trained (live and HRD) you will need to select one track to be the focus of your training weekend.

When: April 29, - May 1, 2022
(Event Hours: Seminar daily schedule will vary but generally run from 8:30am-4:30pm each day. It will conclude at noon on Sunday.). Lunch will be provided on site Friday and Saturday.
Where: Illinois Fire Service Institute, 11 Gery Drive, Champaign, IL. 61820
Cost: $375 per handler with ONE dog.
$150 Audit (no dog).
**Due to the focus of this seminar, we are limiting this to one dog per handler so you can focus on getting the most out of the exercises and scenarios over the entire weekend.
