Disaster (Live)/Crime Scene (HRD) Search Scenarios

Ready to test your skills as a team and push your training to the next level? Do you need help with foundational elements in your detection work? This is the seminar for you and your K9 partner! We will be utilizing a decommissioned Sea World park in Aurora, Ohio that spans over 200 acres. There are numerous buildings in various states of decay, debris and rubble piles, and endless opportunities for creative and challenging search scenarios while also providing opportunities to enhance and increase proficiencies in foundational detection skills. For those that are more advanced, this seminar will also provide the opportunity to challenge you and your dog as a team through variety of challenging scenario exercises focusing on realistic search scenarios for both live and HRD dogs.
This seminar is designed for all levels of search teams (live and HRD) and will include three training tracks to ensure that you are getting a training experience that most directly fits your needs:
1. Enhancement of Functional HRD Detection Skills - Beginner to intermediate, problem solving.
2. HRD Crime Scene - Intermediate-advanced, firm trained final response.
3. Building/Disaster Scenario Search for Live Find K9 Teams - Intermediate-advanced, firm trained final response
Each team must register for one of the three training tracks noted above. If you have a dog that is cross trained (live and HRD) you will need to select one track to be the focus of your training weekend.

When: May 21-23, 2021
(Event Hours: Seminar daily schedule will vary but generally run from 8:30am-4:30pm each day. It will conclude at noon on Sunday.)
Where: 1100 Squires Road, Aurora, Ohio
Cost: $325 per handler with ONE dog.
$150 Audit (no dog).
**Due to the focus of this seminar, we are limiting this to one dog per handler so you can focus on getting the most out of the exercises and scenarios over the entire weekend.
